Scott B. Cypher D.C.
Dr. Cypher is licensed by the Virginia Board of Medicine. He completed his undergraduate in biology at Akron University with a minor in Geology. Dr. Cypher went to Cleveland State for Physical Therapy and soon discovered he wanted the more comprehensive education and care he could provide to people through the science of Chiropractic. He received his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 1984 from the National University of Health Science in Illinois. Dr. Cypher has completed extensive post graduate education and continues to earn educational credits in the field.
Dr. Cypher has been in private practice since 1985. He is active in his church, civic duties, and community youth sports. He is also an elected board member of the Loudoun Health Council. Dr. Cypher and his wife, Sue have four boys who have been very active in sports. His chiropractic care has helped his boys and their team members through the years, helping and preventing injuries. Dr. Cypher also works with band students to help with proper body alignment and positioning of instruments.
Dr Cypher is constantly educating himself on new practices and procedures. He loves education and passes all that information onto his patients. His caring, gentle, and hands on approach to chiropractic care is what sets him apart. With his advanced training, expertise, and skills, Dr. Cypher is ready to help you and your family.
Lisa M Atkinson N.D.
Lisa received a Doctorate of Naturopathy degree from the Trinity School of Natural Health and bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science/Sports Medicine from the University of Massachusetts. She is Certified as a Medical Exercise Specialist with the American Academy of Health and Fitness Professionals. a Personal Trainer with the International Fitness Professionals Associations, and an Aerobics Instructor with AFAA. She is also recognized as an Elite Personal Fitness Trainer by IDEA.
Lisa has completed an 8-day training workshop to become a Certified Natural Health Professional (CNHP).
Lisa has completed an 18-week training program to become a Master Fitness by Phone Coach, and is currently accepting clients for the Fitness by Phone Coaching Method. Lisa is certified through the Association of Fitness by Phone Coaches.
Lisa has been a personal trainer since 1992 and concentrated in training individuals recovering from injuries. She was the Program Director of Club Julian Fitness Center in Pittsburgh, PA for 2 years and General Manger of Franklin Plaza Health Club of Washington, DC for 1-½ years. She helped develop a therapeutic exercise program for chiropractic patients at the Physicians Pain Relief Center of Augusta, GA and has designed Weight Management Programs and Weight training classes for many fitness facilities as well. She worked for over 2 years at Chypher Chiropractic Center in Sterling, VA.

Sandrine Soman – Chiropractic Assistant
Sandrine graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelors degree in Biology and she is preparing for medical school. Her focus is on anatomy and disease research. Sandrine is state licensed as an EMT-B and is excited to be working in a Chiropractic office. In her time off Sandrine teaches CCD to 7th graders, plays volleyball and works out.
Joanne Slattery – Office Manager
Joann received her Bachelors degree in Business and Economics from the University of New York at Plattsburg. She has recently returned to school for nursing. Joann has a passion for healthy living and fitness. She is presently working with Lisa Atkinson on her nutrition and supplementation. Joann is originally from New York and she loves working out, staying fit, and being outdoors.
